June 22, 2018
The U.S. economy recorded the seventh straight month of gains for the Conference Board’s Index.
The LEI measurement is used to forecast global economic trends and measure the health of the U.S. economy. The Conference Board, a business research association, utilizes a composite value based on 10 key metrics, including manufacturers’ orders, stock markets, and average weekly unemployment claims, to create the composite value. All indications are pointing to solid growth for the economy.
