Homebuilder Sentiment Drops in June
June 21, 2019
U.S. homebuilders are still fairly confident in the housing market, but less confident than they have been in recent months. Builder confidence fell to 64 in June, down from 66 in May. It is down from 68 in the same month last year.
Anything above 50 is considered positive, so homebuilders are still confident. They did express growing concerns over the lack of skilled labor, the high cost of construction, and the ongoing trade tensions.
