Second Quarter GDP Growth Revised Up

U.S. economic growth for the second quarter was stronger than initially thought. The Commerce Department’s second reading revised GDP growth to a 4.2 percent annualized rate, up from the 4.1 percent of the initial reading. This marks the best economic performance in nearly four years.

GDP growth for the first half of 2018 was also revised up to 3.2 percent.
